Brava Wins Plain English Award

Brava Design and Liverpool Housing Trust have won a Plain English award for their production of a pictorial tenancy agreement. The brief was to design and print an illustrated tenancy agreement for LHT residents whose first language is not English or who have low levels or Literacy.

Brava created a series of illustrations that communicated the terms of the tenancy in a clear and engaging manner. Stephanie collected the Crystal Clear award at the awards ceremony in London, presented by Lenny Henry.

The plain English campaign has been advocating against jargon and misleading information for over 28 years. The annual awards recognise organisations and individuals' efforts to present themselves using clear and concise English.
