Blackburne House Group Board of Directors
The Blackburne House Group is a leading educational provider and group of award winning Social Enterprises whose products and services are procured both locally, regionally and nationallyWe are presently seeking to recruit a number of dynamic non executive directors to our board. We would like to welcome for interview individuals who have previous board level experience and with either knowledge or experience in the areas of:
- Social Enterprise
- Finance
- Further or Higher Education
- Human Resources
- Health
- Construction
- Marketing and PR
The Group is keen to recruit members from diverse backgrounds and we expect them to be committed to the ethos of Blackburne House working within the group values. Using your specialist knowledge or expertise, you will help the board reach sound decisions and outside of formal meetings you will aim to raise the profile of the Group, drawing attention to our performance and promoting the businesses on every possible occasion.
It is imperative that candidates are passionate towards the need to ensure that all socially disadvantaged groups are provided with equal opportunity to access all areas of our provision and the means to succeed and achieve.
Members of the Board are unpaid and need to be able to dedicate an average of a one day every two months to attend meetings and other activities.
