Graphic Design and Your RigBy Christopher Parker | May 2, 2017 | Default
Today is a very special day! I am currently forced to work on a four-year-old netbook, using graphics software meant for the rig I use for gaming. Why? You might ask. Well, during my holiday it appears as though that my housemate discovered that the house was pretty much infested with several kinds of pests, and decided to on his own, without notifying me, to tent the house. I was assured by the Pest Control Company Gastonia that my gear would not be affected by the pesticides, they were confident enough to say that they would pay for damages if there were any. I believe them!
The problem is though; I have nothing to use but this laptop for the next few days. Luckily enough there are not current projects I need to finish, except the one I was doing for fun, the one I am now struggling to finish while the laptop occasionally freeze.
What you should take away from this is that you should invest in a fairly powerful laptop if your profession is that of the graphic design industry. If not, be prepared for anything! Even friends who mean well but ends up locking you out of your own room and your precious rig, but at the very least he is paying for my hotel room.
